The Double-Board Bomb Pot Assistant

Compute a spot: exact PLO4 / PLO5 / PLO6 equity, both boards enumerated jointly from one shared deck. Or share a hand: a link anyone can replay, street by street.

Why single-board tools get bomb pots wrong

Both boards come off the same deck — a heart that lands on Board 1 can’t complete your flush on Board 2. Single-board tools count that heart twice, which skews the numbers bomb pots are decided by: scoop and chop. Bomb Pot Hero’s calculator enumerates both boards together, so every runout is counted exactly once. See a worked example →

THE CALCULATOR

Everything a double-board study session needs

PLO4 · PLO5 · PLO6
Four-, five- and six-card Omaha as first-class games — same engine, same accuracy.
Exact or Monte Carlo
Exact enumeration whenever the spot fits the time budget; otherwise Monte Carlo with a stated margin of error. The result always tells you which one you got.
Hands, ranges, or random
Type exact hands, describe seats with a full range syntax, or leave a seat completely random.
Dead cards
Remove exposed or mucked cards from the shared deck — the enumeration accounts for every one.
Full result breakdown
Per-player equity, per-board equity, scoop and chop rates, and the whole pot-share distribution.
Made for bomb pots
Purpose-built for the double-board format — scoop and chop are first-class numbers, not afterthoughts.

FAQ

Bomb pot questions, answered

What is a bomb pot in poker?+
A bomb pot is a poker hand where every player posts an ante before the deal and there is no preflop betting — the hand goes straight to the flop. Bomb pots are usually played in Pot-Limit Omaha, and most modern games deal two boards at once, with each board playing for half the pot. Full explainer →
Why do double-board bomb pots need a special equity calculator?+
Because both boards are dealt from the same deck, they are correlated: a card on one board cannot appear on the other, and the same out can matter for both. Single-board tools compute each board independently and double-count those shared outs, so their scoop and chop numbers are wrong. Bomb Pot Hero’s bomb pot calculator enumerates both boards jointly from one shared deck. How the math works →
Are the results exact or simulated?+
Both, automatically. When the spot is small enough to enumerate within the time budget, you get exact numbers, marked EXACT. Otherwise the calculator runs a Monte Carlo simulation and reports its margin of error next to every equity, marked SIMULATED.
Which games and formats are supported?+
Four-, five- and six-card Pot-Limit Omaha (PLO4, PLO5, PLO6) in double-board bomb pots. The calculator takes up to nine seats, and each one can be an exact hand, a range written in a full range syntax, or fully random; it can also remove dead cards from the deck.
